Scholarship for Students in Public Education
The Romano Kher Budapest Roma Culture House proudly draws attention to its special scholarship program targeting talented Roma students from Budapest's public education institutions. This program offers financial support to facilitate their academic progress and contribute to their personal development.
The support is intended for dedicated students who have good academic results (with at least a 3.50 grade point average) and are studying in the upper grades (7th-8th) of primary schools located in Budapest, or in the daytime programs of secondary educational institutions (7th-13th grade). It is important to note that the program is not available to those participating in dual education programs.
Who can apply?
- Students enrolled in the upper grades (7th-8th grade) of elementary schools and full-time students (7th-13th grade) of secondary education institutions located in Budapest, except those participating in dual education programs.
Application requirements:
- The applicant must have a permanent residence or residence permit in Budapest.
- They must belong to the Roma ethnicity.
- The applicant must have achieved a minimum GPA of 3.50 in the preceding academic year, without behavior and diligence grades, and must not have received failing grades on their report card.
