Scholarship for Higher Education Students
The Roma Scholarship Program, initiated by the Budapest Municipality is hosted by Romano Kher. Within the framework of the program, for five months, 20 undergraduate or graduate students have the opportunity to gain valuable work experience in the public administration or public service sectors as scholarship recipients, alongside mentoring.
The participating students commit to dedicating 40-50 hours per month to the internship activities offered by the program, in exchange for a net monthly scholarship of 100,000 Hungarian Forints.
The primary goal of the scholarship program is to facilitate the professional advancement of Roma students, thereby contributing to the increase in labor market equality. The program is organized monthly for the students and three times for their mentors.
