The Romano Kher, located in the heart of the capital, places special emphasis on showcasing Roma visual arts, particularly the representation of Roma women. In the Balázs János Gallery, a curated selection from the Romano Kher painting collection offers an exploration of femininity, the female principle, motherhood, and the ancestral motherhood of Roma through the works of significant Roma artists. Through this exhibition, we gain a subjective insight into the unique attributes with which Roma women are endowed.
