Description of the program:

The aim of the Roma Scholarship Program initiated by the Municipality of Budapest is to support full-time students at higher education institutions in the capital city. Under the program, 20 undergraduate or graduate students have the opportunity to gain valuable work experience in public administration or public service areas as scholarship holders, with mentoring support.

The participating students commit to dedicating 40-50 hours per month to the internship activities offered by the program, in exchange for a monthly net scholarship of 100,000 forints. The primary goal of the scholarship program is to promote the professional advancement of Roma students, thereby contributing to increasing equal opportunities in the labor market.

The program takes place once a month for students and once a month for their mentors.
