The Folk Art Gallery, located at 67 Kir\u00e1ly Street, aims to showcase the material heritage of Roma folk culture. Here, authentic folk art objects and traditional costumes are displayed alongside contemporary folk art creations that blend tradition with modernity. Through the workshops held in the gallery, we create a uniquely immersive space where visitors can engage in the creative process, experiencing firsthand the traditional crafts of the Roma people and the creative processes of contemporary folk art.<\/p>

The creation of the collection consists of purchases, donations, and works offered from creator camps. The Folk Art Collection is complemented by a folklore archive, which aims to present the Roma intellectual cultural heritage.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

Our Exhibitions: Tradition and Modernity<\/strong><\/p>

Our exhibition space houses a rich collection of traditional Roma folk art items, including wood carvings, blacksmithing, wickerwork creations, and many other folk items. These works reflect the deep historical and cultural traditions of Roma culture, bringing to life the richness and beauty that characterize the lives of the artisans in these crafts.<\/span><\/p>

We also aim to focus on the works of contemporary Roma artists, who reinterpret traditional motifs with modern techniques and fresh perspectives, creating something entirely new.
