Description of the program:

We are delighted to share that on the occasion of International Romani Day, a truly special exhibition will take place, featuring masterpieces selected from the Romano Kher collection.

The pieces, selected from our collection of over 2,500 items under the guidance of Tímea Petrik, the exhibition's curator, aim to fittingly celebrate our Romani culture and the rich diversity of our heritage through the works of great Romani painters. This exhibition is not just an event, but also a journey into the world of colors, shapes, and stories, showcasing the remarkable talent and versatility of our Romani community.

We are proud to present the works of the following masters: Márta Bada, János Balázs, Balázs András Balogh, József Ferkovics, Róbert Kökény, Jolán Oláh, Mara Oláh, Tamás Péli, István Szentandrássy, Zoltán Túró, and Gábor Váradi. Each of these artists, with their unique voices, contributes to enriching the Romani artistic canon, and now you also have the opportunity to get a closer look at this wonderful artistic universe.

Step into a world with us where each painting guides you into the depths of our Romani culture. Experience the stories, emotions, and thoughts conveyed through art, which span across time and space, connecting past and present, tradition and innovation.

The exhibition welcomes visitors from Monday to Friday, from 9 in the morning until 5 in the afternoon.

Do not miss out on this unique opportunity to personally experience the richness of Roma culture and the power of art.

We warmly welcome those who are ready to open their hearts and minds to these captivating creations. Join us in this exciting artistic adventure and immerse yourselves in the world of Roma culture.
