Description of the program:Between 2008 and 2009, extremists launched a deliberate series of attacks on vulnerable and innocent Roma in nine different settlements, resulting in six fatalities and five seriously injured victims. On February 23, 2009, in Tatárszentgyörgy, a 27-year-old father and his barely 5-year-old son fell victim to a brutal and ruthless murder.
The Municipality of Erzsébetváros, the Phiren Amenca International Network, and the Romano Kher Budapest Roma Cultural Center commemorate the victims of the Roma murders with an exhibition and candle lighting in memory of Csorba Robika and his father, who were murdered in Tatárszentgyörgy.
