The Romano Kher Roma Cultural House is launching a photo contest for you, aged 12-18, as part of the Budapest Roma Nationality Photo Contest. This is the perfect opportunity to show your unique perspective on the world through photography!

Important information to remember:

Submission Period: We are accepting your photos from May 22, 2024, to September 8, 2024!

Photography Equipment: Anything that takes pictures—mobile phone, camera, etc.—is a perfect choice. Submit your photos in .jpg format and decide whether to capture the moment in black and white or color.

Workshops:

You can participate in two fantastic free workshops where we will introduce you to the secrets of photography, whether under the open sky or within four walls. This is a golden opportunity to further hone your skills!

Emotions: Love, Happiness/Sadness, My Mood - When I'm Alone, When I'm Happy

Culture and Life Scenes: My Family, Me and My Family, We Are One Big Family

Life Milestones and Celebrations

Environment: People in the Environment, People in Nature, People and Home

Portrait: Portrait of My Mother, Portrait of the Most Important Person to Me

Roma Cultural Heritage and Traditions: Crafts, Traditional Costumes, Built Heritage, Women's Headscarves and Hairstyles

Prizes:

The best works will be showcased in an exhibition.

The winning photos will be printed in professional quality.

The lucky winners will participate in a 3-session mentorship program with professional photographers.
